This 7th annual all-mandala retreat brings together the whole sangha in a festive atmosphere to practise, celebrate, share stories, receive teachings, and simply for us to be together as a sangha.
This year we will celebrate the exceptional continuum of three incarnations: Tertön Sogyal Lerab Lingpa, Sogyal Rinpoche and his Yangsi, Ngawang Sonam Gyatso.
- Marking the 100th Anniversary of the parinirvana of Tertön Sogyal, the practice theme for all levels of students during the retreat will be Tendrel Nyesel—a terma revelation of Tertön Sogyal that is uniquely upheld in Rigpa and was one of Sogyal Rinpoche’s main practices.
- Celebrating Sogyal Rinpoche’s life, we will continue to follow the journey of his life, hearing stories from his early years in the West and receiving rarely seen teachings.
- We will hear more news from the Vision Board about how Sogyal Rinpoche’s Yangsi was identified, leading up to the naming ceremony. We will take time to explore together what this means for us as students, and how we can support the Yangsi’s development in the most auspicious way.
